Biografija

Dragana Četojević-Simin je rođena 12.11.1970. u Sremskoj Mitrovici, Srbija (SFRJ).

Osnovne studije biologije (9,76/10,0), magistarske studije mikrobiologije (9,71/10,0) i doktorat u oblasti biologija završila je na Prirodno-matematičkom fakultetu Univerziteta u Novom Sadu (SFRJ, Srbija i Crna Gora i Srbija). Trogodišnju specijalizaciju iz medicinske genetike završila je na Medicinskom fakultetu Univerziteta u Novom Sadu (Srbija).

Tokom studija više puta je nagrađivana za uspeh i postignute izuzetne rezultate od strane Univerziteta u Novom Sadu i Prirodno-matematičkog fakulteta. Poslediplomske studije mikrobiologije na Prirodno-matematičkom fakultetu u Novom Sadu je upisala iz budžeta, kao najbolje rangiran kandidat. U okviru nacionalnog programa Ministarstva obrazovanja za nadarene studente radila je u Pasterovom zavodu u Novom Sadu, a prema odluci Ministarstva zdravlja, kao izuzetan student, zaposlena je u Institutu za onkologiju Vojvodine u Sremskoj Kamenici.

Dragana Četojević-Simin stekla je zvanje naučni savetnik (biotehničke nauke) u januaru 2016. god., a zvanje redovni profesor (biologija) u martu 2021. god. na Univerzitetu Singidunum.

Dragana Četojević-Simin je objavila više od 70 radova u međunarodnim naučnim časopisima, sa 2838 citata i Hiršovim indeksom h=30 (Google Scholar, novembar 2025). Oblast njenog istraživanja je bioaktivnost prirodnih proizvoda, sintetskih jedinjenja i ksenobiotika.

Dragana Četojević-Simin je bila glavni urednik (Editor-in-Chief) nacionalnog časopisa Archive of Oncology (2017-2022), urednik je (Associate Editor) u vrhunskom međunarodnom časopisu Frontiers in Pharmacology (2021-danas), bila je koordinator evropskog projekta (iPAAC Joint Action, 3rd EU Health Programme, 2018-2021), rukovodilac i učesnik većeg broja međunarodnih i nacionalnih projekata (2004-2019), recenzent međunarodnih (COST, EU) i nacionalnih projekata (ОТКА, Mađarska) i rezenzent u međunarodnim i nacionalnim naučnim časopisima. 

Bila je mentor i član komisija za ocenu i odbranu doktorskih disertacija većeg broja doktoranada Prirodno-matematičkog, Medicinskog i Tehnološkog fakulteta, Univerziteta u Novom Sadu.

Član je AIDASCO. 

Rukovodilac je osnovnih, master i doktorskih studija studijskog programa Životna sredina i održivi razvoj na Univerzitetu Singidunum (april 2024-)
